Murat Sertel Center
Murat Sertel Center for Advanced Economic Studies was established in Fall 2009, in honor of the Iate Professor Murat R. Sertel, an internationally reputed Economic Theorist who is the initiator of the mathematical social sciences tradition in Turkey. The Center aims to constitute a gathering point for the scientists who are part of this tradition. Our mission is to represent, through the coordination of the individual scientific activities of our members, a common identity that reflects the internationally recognized mathematical social sciences tradition in Turkey.
- We will be hosting Matthew Ellman (Institute of Economic Analysis, Barcelona) to give a seminar entitled "How to Subsidise the News" on April 27th. The talk is going to be held at 15:00 in Dolapdere Campus, room 326.
- We will be hosting Nejat Anbarcı (Deakin University) to give a seminar entitled "An Experimental Comparison of Posted Prices with Single-Buyer and Multi-Buyer Prices" on May 3rd. The talk is going to be held at 15:00 in Dolapdere Campus, room 305.
